Team Progress Week 10
Week 10 has been quite slow for our team since there is multiple another assignment due and we have just finished a hard deadline (playtest 2). Coming into this week, we wanted to take the critique that we received from last playtest and fix some issues before we move on to providing new features.
For the programming part, we added in the barrier to make sure that player has a sense of progress as they proceed through the game. We also implemented multiple triggers that controls these barriers.
As for modeling and animation, since we received multiple feedback on ultimate being too underwhelming, we decided to have a new set of animation to make the ultimate ability feel more rewarding for the player. We added a new gun model for the player and a brand new set of animation. We also started modeling for the next level environment. We wanted to create an English feeling village for level 4, therefore, we created multiple houses and architects.
